Barnabas Ministry Group Areas of Training There will be 13 Units of Training Experiences and twenty-four months of Ongoing Support: 1) Launching Our Shared Ministry Vision Weekend (1 Weekend)
2) Comprehensive Prayer Ministry Training (1 Weekend)
3) Nominations and Leadership Development Training (3 Weekends)
4) Worship Ministry Training (1 Weekend)
5) Connect Group Ministry (1 Weekend)
6) Spiritual Transformation Experience (1 Weekend)
7) Relational Outreach Ministry (Loving, Relating & Encouraging) (3 Weekends) – primary focus groups of these three will be 1) Community Families and Worship Visitors; 2) Inactive Members and Ministry Referral families; and 3) Daytime Outreach to Shut-ins, Sick, and Special Needs individuals or families
8) Pastoral Support (Ongoing across the 24 months, with scheduled, consistent training for the Pastors together) *
9) Laity and Laity Staff Support (Ongoing for 24 months) * • The Directors and Instructional Staff of Proactive Ministries are on call for the Pastors, Staff and Laity Leadership of each of the Barnabas Ministry Group Churches seven days a week by phone or email. • The Proactive Staff may also come to work with the Barnabas Ministry Group for extra meetings with the Pastors and/or the Laity Leadership (particularly specific Committees, The Covenant Teams, or other groups such as SPRC) as Proactive Ministries and the Barnabas Ministry Group Covenant Team discerns to be necessary. There will be no extra charge for the additional time in the Barnabas Ministry Group, but the Barnabas Ministry Group Churches will cover the extra airfare, provide Host Homes, transportation and meals during the extra trips. • Proactive Ministries also provides Conference Calls for multiple follow up meetings, extra training clarification and meetings of the Church Covenant Teams (as well as a scheduled Conference Call for the Barnabas Ministry Group Covenant Team with representatives from each church monthly). [Long distance fees may apply] • Should any one of the churches in the Barnabas Ministry Group desire to have Proactive Ministries provide them with individual, extra ministry training in a specific, additional area for their church, it will be at an additional cost for that church. (An example of this may be to have Proactive lead them in a Year of Financial Coaching, OR additional Worship Training) |
