Worship Development Ministry

Worship IS the number one ministry in every local church in the world today!  Why?  It is true because more lives are impacted directly through worship than any other single ministry in the life of the vast majority of churches.  Though this is true, too many churches know little about maximizing the spiritual impact of their worship experiences. 

Churches need effective Teams and leadership to carefully plan worship and participate in making worship a life transforming experience.  Worship that is routine, boring or negative is simply unacceptable in churches that want to move forward in faith and ministry development. 

Should our worship be Traditional, Contemporary or a blending of the two very different realities?  Should we offer a wide variety of worship experiences?  And if we wanted to add a new, Contemporary Service, do we replace one of our other services with that, or just crunch it in simultaneous with our Sunday School hour? 

Surely we recognize the potential explosiveness of ANY of the above questions that churches seek to wrestle with!  As an ongoing ministry resource Team in your church, we can help your Staff, leadership and member in safely and effectively navigating these potentially perilous waters in advancing in worship.  We help everyone involved consider a host of options, times, target ministry groups, as well as helping them realistically evaluate what they are currently doing in worship in terms of impacting lives. 

Building Community Through Worship

What: Proactive provides teaching on the proper Worship attitudes. They will present strategies to train greeters, ushers and those attending to serve in ministry with worship visitors.  Proactive will help build strong worship ministry teams with all involved. Following this, Proactive introduces a new element of “Sanctuary Servants” ministry to engage regular attendees at worship services, to work as part of the Worship Ministry. The training also includes working with all present church Staff and Leaders to build harmony and increased effectiveness in worship.

How it will help the churches to grow: Worship Service guests will be warmly greeted and quickly feel that the church is a place in which they can find friendship and close relationships. Strengthening the planning of intentional strategies for relationship building at the worship services will insure the greatest possible excellence in the worship experience for all. This gives each church a systematic, disciplined approach to hospitality. 

Listening and Understanding Our Worship Community

What: Continue to work with all present church Staff and Leaders to build harmony and increased effectiveness in worship. Work with and strengthen the Worship Committee. Have listening sessions to hear, understand, and respect the Congregations receptivity to the current Worship Service (s).

How it will help the church to grow: Continued strengthening of the planning of Worship Services will ensure the greatest possible excellence in the Worship experience for all. Listening to the pulse of the people will bring a greater sense of ownership, appreciation, and involvement of all church participants.
