In so many congregations there exist incredible needs in the area of reconciliation and the healing of relationships. How is this reconciliation to take place and who is going to lead this kind of ministry in the church? Related closely to the ministry we provide churches with in the area of Mediation and Conflict Resolution, we also provide extensive training for every church leader in having them become proactive agents of reconciliation in the church.
To be an agent of reconciliation is not only Biblically sound, it is one of the most rewarding ministries we can ever share in. However a word of caution is in order here. Excellent teaching, training as well as ministry modeling needs to be provided to the Staff and Leaders of a church BEFORE they begin to carry forward this kind of ministry. Otherwise the results of uninformed attempts at this can be relationally disastrous.
Pastors and leaders in churches we have provided with this training have found it both liberating and encouraging. It has allowed them to be agents of change in powerful and loving ways among their own people.
