Prayer Ministry Every church says that prayer ministry is a priority. In actuality, very few have much more than a few prayer chains or occasional prayer efforts. We help congregations think in comprehensive ways about Prayer Ministry that spans the entire congregation AND extends outreach into the community with families from all walks of life – both those who are Christians and those who have no relationship with a church or Christ. The more effective and comprehensive the Prayer Ministry of a congregation, the more Divine Power is present to support the needs, hopes, ministries and dreams of the congregation in prayer. We are encouraged constantly in glimpses of the ministry of Jesus to pray with consistency and confidence. As we work with congregations to develop a total Prayer Ministry, this honors the teachings of Christ which instruct us to make prayer a top priority. We also draw a direct linkage between the Prayer Ministry Team of the church and the Lay Leadership Team of the church. Those who are responsible to nominate new leaders for the congregation are directly linked with prayer support and additional discernment from the Prayer Ministry Team. We also provide training in this area that encourages the Prayer Ministry Team to be involved with supporting, affirming and encouraging the leadership of the church. | ||||
