 About Sonsee Sanders:
Sonsee Sanders accepted Jesus Christ as Savior when she was 14 years old, although God’s calling was apparent in her life from a much earlier age. Finally, on a youth trip, Sonsee gave her heart to Jesus, making good the claim that God had laid on her life before she was born.
After sharing in the spiritual transformation of her church through a covenant with Proactive Evangelism Ministries, the Lord called Sonsee to reach out and share with others that which she believes with such clarity and passion. Her excitement for sharing the love of Christ with others is the reason she joined the Staff of PEM.
Sonsee has been in the field of education for six years. This calling has led her to be an elementary teacher and the Director of Education for Sylvan Learning Center. She has had the privilege of being a team leader and mentor for beginning teachers. Sonsee has received several awards including the Disneyland Teacher Award which honors creativity in teaching. She was also recipient of the Superintendent’s Award for Excellence. She has also been a nominee for Teacher of the Year in her school several times.
Sonsee’s ministry experience includes: youth ministry leader, Chrysalis speaker, women’s bible study teacher, Sunday school teacher, worship team member, and secretary of the lay leadership committee. Her current focus is the LRE ministry. Sonsee is also the Praise Band Coordinator at her church.
Sonsee lives with her husband Jason in Brooksville, Florida. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to college football games, and cooking.
