About Jamie Blankenship:
I accepted Christ as my Savior at 9 years of age. As a child, our family regularly attended church. When our family relocated, we stopped attending church. I never lost faith, but I grew very distant in my relationship with God. I began working as an administrative assistant for Proactive Evangelism Ministries after answering an advertisement in the local paper, in July 2001. I have worked in administration for the past 15 years, previously in both the automotive and temporary personnel industries. I am certain that God brought me here as an answer to many prayers. At first, it was great job because Rev. Hollis is great to work for and the office is close to home. But it just kept getting better, because I could see the ministry changing lives for Christ. Now, I see through the changes in me, how this job has changed every aspect of my life for the better. Not by just getting me back to a “right” relationship with Christ, but growing me into a faithful, dedicated servant of God. I feel the joy of “Blessed Assurance” knowing that I finally have God first in every aspect of my life, and that I am 100% committed everyday to keeping Him there. Since I have been a part of Proactive Evangelism Ministries, I have slowly put the pieces of my life together and become solidified in my faith. I am a single mom blessed with a beautiful daughter that is 7 years old. We enjoy animals, nature and just being outdoors. In my “spare” time I enjoy home improvement projects. I have also discovered that I love working with children! I have coached Upwards Cheerleading at a local church in the past and currently volunteer at my daughter’s school. My favorite saying is “A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle.” It reminds me to always be encouraging to others. |
